Coach Zensen receives 2005-06 NCCAA All Mid-East Region Coach of the Year award!
Dr. Sandy Zensen, head coach of Bryan's men's soccer team, has again received the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All Mid-East Region Coach of the Year award.
Coach Zensen has lead the Bryan men's soccer program and the Athletics Department as Director of Athletics for the past 16 years. This year his team won the NCCAA Mid-East Region Championship and competed in the NCCAA National Tournament.
In 16 seasons he has compiled a record of 191-103-19 for an impressive .610 winning percentage. His teams have won three TVAC/ACC conference championships, won four NCCAA Div I Mid-East Region titles, made five trips to the NAIA Region XII playoffs, and have made appearances in the NCCAA Div I National Tournament
The Coach of the Year is voted on by the coaches in the conference and is based not only on wins and losses, but also on things such as his relationship with and treatment of his players, respect from his players, respect from other coaches and officials, and good sportsmanship demonstrated by him and his players.
