2005 Scholar Athletes

Senior defender/midfielder Tim Franklin from Marietta, Ga., has qualified as a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Scholar Athlete, which requires a minimum of grade average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for a junior or senior, in addition to playing in a significant number of games. This recognition automatically qualifies him as an AAC and NCCAA Scholar Athlete.

Senior defender/midfielder Craig Biddy from Powder Springs, Ga., and sophomore defender Felipe Vallejo from Bogota, Colombia, qualified as Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) and National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Scholar Athletes, which requires a 3.25 GPA for a sophomore, junior or senior and 3.4 GPA for a junior or senior, respectively, plus playing in a significant number of games.
