LOCATION AND WAITING POLICY
Lessons are given at various places determined by individual teachers. If lessons are held at Bryan College, please note that children must be directly supervised by an adult when they are in the Rudd Chapel building. They may not be left unattended, nor in an older sibling’s care, before or after lessons. We require this to show consideration for others who use the building and, equally, to ensure that your children are safe. Thank you for your cooperation in this important matter.
When a student must miss a private lesson, the teacher would appreciate at least 24-hours notice. The teacher is not obligated to reschedule or reimburse a lesson that the student cancels. When a teacher must cancel, he/she will either reschedule or reimburse.
Sometimes it becomes necessary to change teachers. One should not hesitate to request a change for fear of hurting the teacher’s feelings. The student’s individual development as a musician and person is our primary concern. Sometimes we may need to suggest a change. All of our teachers are well qualified, yet we each have our own teaching style. If a change is needed, contact the student’s teacher.
ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE
$30/per family unit (payable to Bryan College). This Registration and Activity Fee, payable yearly, makes the student eligible to participate in all of the BCCMS events, including recitals, classes and contests.
See individual teachers for rates and payment schedule.
