Bass Sisters Honored

Summers Gymnasium was packed with approximately 1,000 excited fans Jan. 24, 2006, for a big game against local rival Covenant College Lady Scots.  The atmosphere was one of the most electrifying in all of small college athletics. 

It was on this night that the Lady Lions honored the careers of Sarah and Liz Bass, who graduated from Bryan in 2005.  In their four years at Bryan, they amassed a record of 110-31, combined for more that 4,500 points and racked up numerous school, conference, and national accolades. 

The sisters played their high school basketball at Grace Academy in Chattanooga, TN.

Also, Tuesday night's 69-63 victory over Covenant marked head coach Matt Bollant's 100th career victory, all of which have come at Bryan.  Since Bollant came to Dayton in 2002, the Lady Lions are 100-27.
