There will never be another number 9

Abigail Snead was honored during the Bryan athletic awards banquet on April 20 when her No. 9 jersey was retired.

Abigail leaves Bryan as the most honored player in the women's soccer program's history. In her four-year career she scored 129 goals and assisted on 36. She was named freshman of the year in ‘01, Appalachian Athletic Conference player of the year in ‘02, 1^st team all conference in ’02,’03, and ’04 and was named to the NAIA Region XII 1^st team in ’04.

Coach Mark Sauve said Abigail will be missed not only because of her soccer abilities but also for her personality and her leadership style. Abigail will graduate in May with a degree in mathematics and is engaged to marry Bob Angrove in July.
