Breakfast@Bryan offers quick overview
April 12, 2010
Prospective students and their families filled the Rhea County Room as the admissions office introduced Breakfast@Bryan recently for a close—but quick—look at Bryan College.
Guests listen to a presentation during Breakfast@Bryan recently.
Director of Admissions Michael Nichols said visitors were joined by faculty, administrators, and current students to enjoy a catered breakfast and an admissions and financial aid workshop followed by campus tours.
During the meal, guests were able to talk with faculty and current students, then Michael Sapienza, vice president for enrollment management, gave an overview of community life at Bryan. Financial Aid Director Rick Taphorn discussed scholarship opportunities and the financial aid process.
Campus Event Coordinator Kim Tuttle said several visitors told her they enjoyed the program because “they felt it was personalized, even though it was in a group setting. Others said it was beneficial for them because they only had the morning to commit. Plus, they said it was a delicious buffet.”
Mr. Nichols said, “The event was so well-received by the campus and guests that it’s possible the Breakfast@Bryan could become our signature campus preview event.”
Another Breakfast@Bryan is scheduled for April 23, beginning at 9 a.m. Follow this link to register for this event.
