Mark your calendars now and make plans to attend Homecoming ’10, a weekend of celebrating what God is doing at Bryan and in the lives of alumni.

Alumni Director David Tromanhauser said highlights of the weekend, Oct. 1-3, include a ribbon-cutting for Landes Way, the new entrance to the college; tours of the townhouses at Bryan Commons; and, of course, great food at Friday’s dinners, Saturday’s tailgate lunch, and the Alumni Awards Dinner Saturday night.
“From early registrations, it looks like we should have a great turnout for homecoming,” Mr. Tromanhauser said. “We have a lot to celebrate, and the celebration can only be better with more alumni involved.”
Friday’s schedule includes a golf tournament and six reunion dinners: Good Ol’ Days classes up to 1969; 30th anniversary for the Class of 1980; 25th anniversary for the class of 1985; Class of 2010; Class of 2005; and Milestone Reunion dinners highlighting the five-year classes.
At Saturday’s awards dinner, Carlos Vega, ’79, and Boe Barinowski, ’85, will be inducted into the soccer Hall of Fame, and Nathaniel Goggans, ’00, will be honored as the Young Alumnus of the Year. Other awards, including the Alumnus of the Year, will be announced at the dinner.
Homecoming will conclude with the alumni chapel service on Sunday, with Tom Branson, ’80, speaking, and Mark Jones, ’85, leading in worship.
