Lake Junaluska Singers include senior Elise Bacon (back row, left) and alumni Elizabeth Murphy, '05 (front row, second from right), and Daniel Spivey (second row, second from right).

The Lake Junaluska Singers, a select group of 16 talented musicians, three of whom include a current Bryan student and two Bryan alumni, provide music for the various conferences and worship services of the summer season for the Southeastern Jurisdiction of The United Methodist Church at Lake Junaluska.

Under the direction of Dr. Melodie G. Galloway, the choral group's performances feature sacred music, folk tunes, gospel favorites, patriotic selections, and music from Broadway. The Lake Junaluska Singers also tour within the Southeast to numerous diverse locations during the summer.

Senior Elise Bacon is a member of the Bryan College Chamber Singers and the Bryan College Chorale.  Before coming to Bryan, Elise performed with the NC All-State Honors Chorus from 2003-2007.  This is Elise’s second year with the Lake Junaluska Singers.

Elizabeth Murphy, '05, has performed off and on with the Lake Junaluska Singers since 2000, and this is Daniel Spivey's sixth summer with the chorale group.  Elizabeth and Daniel were active in the music and theatre programs while they were students at Bryan.
