Because of the close-knit Christian community at Bryan College, many homeschool families find our college to be a great fit for their students. Bryan College does not employ a chaplain. Instead, we provide a faculty and staff that becomes an extended family to our students. Not only is Bryan a conservative Christian college, but we are one of the few colleges to place a high emphasis on understanding, teaching, and encouraging our students to live out a biblical worldview. Also unique to Bryan College is the opportunity for our students to join one of our worldview programs, so that they have the opportunity to share what they learn with others. Nestled in a small town in the foothills of the Smokies, on a beautiful campus with an outstanding academic program, you can rest assured that your students will be in good hands.

You are in a battle. Ideas come at you from every direction. Few know how to make sense of the world or how to think Christianly; few know what they believe; and fewer still, why they believe it. Equip yourself and learn to equip others. Summit’s Student Worldview Conferences are intensive two-week retreats designed to teach students (ages 16-22) how to analyze the various ideas that compete for their hearts and minds.
Sense of Community
After being homeschooled I was nervous about starting school at Bryan. In all honesty, the social aspect of college frightened me. Bryan’s sense of community is well advertised, but I did not realize how close that bond was until I got here; the students have become like a family. The staff and faculty care about you and show that through encouraging words and welcoming smiles. It is undoubtedly this sense of community at Bryan that has eased the transition from homeschooling to college life, making Bryan already feel like home.

A Warm Welcome
When I arrived at Bryan College I was nervous about not fitting in. Yet, the atmosphere here is exactly what I have loved the most. Bryan has an accepting community that goes beyond prior education. Whether you have been homeschooled, attended private or public school, Bryan College grows you into an individual that is equipped to serve and make a difference. They do this not by taking your prior education for granted but by understanding that it brought you to where you are today!
