Educator Worldview Conference FAQs

  1. Who attends? The Adult Conference is open only to adults. The attendees are usually parents, grandparents, teachers, and pastors.
  2. Are there any scholarships available? Thanks to an endowment fund made possible by generous Summit supporters, financial aid scholarships are available—with special assistance for pastors, youth workers, teachers and school administrators. The scholarships are based solely on need. To request an application, please contact Summit's Conferences Department at 719.685.9103.
  3. How much does the conference cost? The total cost for the entire program, depending on the housing option you choose ranges from $345 (single commuter) - $940 (married private); this includes a non-refundable $95 deposit.  Please complete the Educator Worldview Conference Application form to begin the application process. After your application has been approved, you will receive an acceptance letter in the mail.
  4. Is Continuing Education credit available? The Summit Adult Conferences meets the CEU guidelines set forth by the Association of Christian Schools International and counts for four CEU credits for all ACSI educators who complete the course.   5. What kind of activities are available beyond the sessions?  Enjoy recreation time in the beautiful Smokey Mountain surroundings. Conference participants have an opportunity to witness in the beautiful city of Chattanooga, at for additional fees enjoy a tour of the Knoxville Zoo led by a Creationist, or go whitewater rafting. Other outside activities include paintballing, caving, hiking, and enjoying a water slide.  Come a few days early or stay a few days after your conference and enjoy more things to do in the area.
