Alumnus of the Year Diane Dempsey SirmansB.A., Liberal Arts, 1986 While at Bryan College, Diane majored in Education and minored in Biblical Studies receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in 1986. Diane was also active in student government. She is a former elementary school teacher and currently serves in several capacities supporting a number of ministries. She is co-chair of the Presidential Briefings for Bryan College, is active in the ministries at Ft. Bluff, and works with Ken Turner Ministries. She remains in contact with many of her classmates. She and her husband, Walt, reside in Greenville, SC with their son, Matthew, who attends Clemson University. |
Young Alumnus of the Year Dr. Brian EisenbackB.S., Biology, 2002 Brian was a biology major and soccer player while a student at Bryan. He returned to Bryan in the fall of 2008 as an assistant professor of Biology, having earned his Ph.D. in Entomology from Virginia Tech. Brian also serves as the Assistant Director of the Bryan Center for Undergraduate Research, the faculty secretary, the Junior class advisor, and is a proud member of the faculty & staff intramural flag football team. Brian lives in Dayton with his wife Ashley who is a veterinarian, and they are expecting their first child in March. |
