Bryan College Arboretum

An arboretum is a place for exhibition and study of many kinds of trees and shrubs―basically a botanical garden of trees.

The major goals of the Bryan College Arboretum are to:
  • Preserve and enhance existing and future trees by demonstrating environmentally responsible management.
  • Teach environmental stewardship, biodiversity and horticulture through interpretive signage, self-guided tours, and eventually guided group tours, lectures and audio-visual media.
  • Provide teaching and research materials.
  • Partner with the community to encourage outdoor recreation and enjoyment of creation.
The Bryan College Arboretum brochure contains a map to guide you to the labeled trees.  You may pick up a brochure at the Henning Museum and other places around campus or download the brochure here.
