Christian Ministry |
All Majors |
OverviewThe Christian Ministry major is a unique and rigorous academic program that combines orthodoxy with orthopraxy. In order to be an effective leader in any realm of Christian ministry, you must possess a strong foundational orthodoxy. To help develop this foundational orthodoxy, you are required to take courses in biblical studies, biblical languages, and Christian theology.Although a strong orthodoxy is essential for you, as a future Christian leader, of equal necessity is a practical and relevant orthopraxy. To help shape this active-oriented mindset, regardless of which degree option you choose, you will be required to take core courses that are relevant for all Christian ministry leaders. In addition to these core courses, you will take other specialized courses that are highly practical in nature in relation to the degree option you choose. Thus, you can expect to receive a well-balanced education in orthodoxy and orthopraxy. |
