K-12 Professional Development Recruiter: Adult & Graduate Studies

K-12 Professional Development Recruiter supports the enrollment efforts of the application pool for all potential AGS graduate level education (M Ed) program students. Provides guidance and initial advisement for prospective K-12 targeted candidates, solid conduit between Bryan College’s administrative offices, the student and K-12 Schools. Additionally, creates communication and recruitment materials, builds & maintains rapport with all regional K-12 School Districts, representing Bryan College at onsite locations such as Elementary, Middle/Jr High, Sr High Schools and Private K-12 School campuses. Promotes the AGS M Ed program of the school to enhance the mission of Bryan College and enrich the environment in the communities served.

  • Demonstrates a Christian worldview and upholds the College’s Christ-centered mission in interactions with prospective students, enrolled students, faculty and staff
  • Responsible for developing and delivering motivating presentations and providing information about Bryan College and its academic offerings to K-12 Educators
  • Conducts informal meetings with prospective K-12 Educator students
  • Represents the college at community Educator and school events, local Board of Education functions, similar events within the community
  • Establishes and maintains long-term relations with Boards of Education and school districts within the region, creating/sustaining strategic & tactical goals of Bryan College’s mission, vision and values
  • Generates a leads roster using best practices as determined by the Director of Enrollment Management
  • Establishes and maintains communication with prospective K-12 Educator students via telephonic, email, text, appointments and other materials
  • Counsels prospective K-12 Educator students on the admissions process and opportunities available at Bryan College
  • Schedules and conducts phone interviews, accurately conveys course and program information, to include but not limited to advising students with respect to admissions requirements, processes and degree options
  • Consistently follows up with prospective K-12 Educator students in person, telephonically, email and text providing guidance to them through the enrollment process by following best practices as identified by the Director
  • Collaborates regularly with Financial Aid, Admissions, Registrar, Financial Services as necessary to coordinate services and support for K-12 Educator students
  • Assists in developing, planning and implementation of adult specific recruitment and retention programming designed for K-12 Educators including open houses, information sessions, workshops, webinar events (web-based training), and other related activities
  • Meets enrollment goals and other metrics as determined by the Director
  • Submits applicable reports to the Director as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director


  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s Degree preferred


  • Prior Public/Private school system experience required
  • Experience with Board of Education and State Educational level standards a plus
  • Sales, recruitment or community relations experience a plus
  • Record of strong oral, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a professional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to employ critical thinking and problem solving skills in a professional environment
  • Experience in providing presentations in formal and informal settings
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office Applications, superior organizational and problem solving skills are necessary to be successful
