Academics

Bryan College has 45 full-time faculty, 35 of whom have the earned doctorate (77%). These faculty members come from diverse backgrounds and geographical settings and have attended some of the most prestigious graduate schools in the nation and abroad.

The College, as an evangelical Christian community, seeks to create an atmosphere in which personal commitment to Christ and Christian standards of behavior are upheld, particularly in the classroom. For this reason, faculty must annually affirm their faith and commitment by subscribing to the College Statement of Belief.

Bryan faculty constantly enhance their academic knowledge and expertise through the College program for faculty development. In any given academic year, a majority of the faculty is involved in study for advanced degrees, national and regional conferences, or subject-related workshops given at distinguished colleges and universities.
