Good Neighbor Scholarship

Criteria

The Good Neighbor Scholarship is a competitive scholarship awarded to up to 10 incoming freshmen based on financial need. An interview is not required and the financial aid committee selects the recipients. This scholarship is not stackable with the Presidential or Dean’s Scholarship and preference is given to students receiving little or no financial assistance from institutional sources.

 

·      Spring 2009 high school graduate

·      Cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 OR ACT 21 OR SAT 980 (reading/math)

·      Not a resident of Tennessee

·      100-500 word essay explaining why additional financial aid should be provided
