New to BryanNet? Technology Orientation for newly-hired faculty and staff
What is this I hear about passphrase complexity?
Starting August 14, 2006, there will be certain complexity requirements for your BryanNet account’s password. Strong passwords help protect your personal information and enhance network security for the college as a whole. The easiest way to meet these new requirements is to use a “passphrase” instead of just a password. Since you will need to have at least one capital letter and one symbol in your passphrase, try to think of something that you can easily remember but would be hard for others to guess. An example would be: Got2be@school@8 this passphrase would be much more difficult to crack or guess than say, “sports.” If you have any questions about the new requirements, please contact the Helpdesk.
