What Some of Our Graduates Are Doing

  Rachel Evans (’03) was editor of Triangle, Bryan’s student newspaper, and earned a paid internship at the Chattanooga Times Free Press. She spent a year as a feature writer at The Herald-News (Dayton, Tenn.) and won First Place awards for Feature Writing and Humor Column in the State Press Contests. She is now a successful blogger, married and has just had her second book published.
  Aaron Groen (’04) was editor of Triangle and did a brief stint in public relations before joining the Washington (D.C.) Times as an editorial assistant. His writing about Capitol Hill gained the attention of U.S. Rep. Virginia Fox, R-N.C.; and he has worked as her director of communications since 2007. Aaron and his wife live in the D.C. area.
  Michael Reneau (’09) was editor of Triangle and then spent two years as news editor of The Herald-News. He is now communications manager for Summit Ministries in Colorado where he and his family live. Michael edits Summit’s monthly newsletter and manages its website and social media outreach.
