Dewey Decimal System

The Dewey Decimal system (which we use) is a system based on broad subjects that are sub-divided in narrower topics. Here is the ‘skeleton’ of the Dewey Decimal system, click on the subject area to see call numbers that can be used when searching the stacks.

Automatic Citation Generators

  • Son of Citation Machine – Easily format your in-text citations, footnotes, and bibliography in Turabian, APA, MLA, and Chicago styles, allows you to look up books by ISBN
  • Citation Builder – creates citations for you in APA, MLA, and Chicago CBE/CSE formats.
  • Microsoft Word Reference Tab – This brief tutorial shows you how to use the tools within Word to format your sources in major citation styles
  • EasyBib – You can enter citation elements (title, date, author, etc.) and have them formatted into MLA style for free.
