Media Department Request

The mission of the Bryan College Media Department is to provide recruiting, promotional, advertising, and fundraising video content for use on the Bryan website and social media sites, fundraising and Alumni events, and Admissions events; and in support of the Alumni Department through DVD distribution of graduation and other important events. All mission-related videos produced by this department must support the College in its endeavor to educate students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.

Criteria Used to Evaluate Video Project Submissions

Projects that will be undertaken by the Media Department must fit at least one of these four criteria in order to be submitted via this form:
  1. Projects that promote the College to prospective students (no fees apply)
  2. Projects that promote the College to potential and current donors (no fees apply)
  3. Projects that support the continuing education of enrolled students (no fees apply)  NOTE: See below for option for archival projects or recording of academic classes, neither of which are the function of this department.
  4. Outside projects that support the growth of the Media Department through financial means (fees apply)

Projects Not Undertaken by Media Department 

  1. Recording of campus events or classes for archival purposes (use this form instead)
  2. Recording of events for online or DVD distribution except graduation or where the event sponsor is paying the department production fee
  3. Recording of academic classes or seminars for any reason (use this form instead), except where the event sponsor is paying the department production fee
  4. Outside projects done pro bono - NOTE:  We do consider outside projects based on this fee schedule.
Additionally, any outside project or Bryan College project being done for a fee will have a lower priority than projects that support the department's mission.
