Bryan College’s Board of Trustees affirms its support of President Stephen Livesay. Col. John Haynes, board chairman, issued this statement on behalf of the Board of Trustees:

The Board adopted on February 27 a resolution fully supporting the leadership of Dr. Livesay and expressing their appreciation for the progress made by the college during his tenure as president.

Bryan College’s desire is to stimulate critical thinking, educating students within the framework of a biblical world and life view. The Board of Trustees is confident that under Dr. Livesay’s leadership we are achieving that objective. Therefore, the Board stands fully behind President Livesay.

“My goal,” stated Dr. Livesay, “is to continue working alongside our faculty and staff to enhance Bryan’s mission of educating our students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world. I commend our outstanding faculty for their scholarship and teaching. Their personal and professional investment in the lives of our students both inside and outside the classroom is a hallmark of a Bryan education.”

According to Chairman Haynes, “Ultimately, we must remember why students come to Bryan in the first place. In everything we do, all of our decisions stem from our desire to live out our motto of ‘Christ Above All.’”
