Oct. 24, 2014 — On Sunday, Oct. 26, the United States Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus will be coming to Dayton, Tenn., to perform a free concert in Bryan College’s Rudd Auditorium.
According to the Army Field Band’s website, the group of talented musicians travels worldwide each year, and it “fosters the support of the American people for members of the armed forces and supports diplomatic efforts around the world.”
President Stephen D. Livesay said, “We are so grateful for all the men and women serving in the military who give of themselves so that we may remain free. We are pleased to partner with The Herald-News to sponsor the U.S. Army Band and Chorus.”
This free concert, sponsored by Bryan College and the Herald-News, will take place Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2 P.M. in Rudd Auditorium on Bryan’s Dayton campus. For ticket information, contact the Rhea Herald-News at P.O. Box 286, Dayton, TN, or stop by the office at 3687 Rhea County Hwy, Dayton, TN.
