Christian Life Formation Course for New Students

CLF: Foundations for the Christian Life (CT101) is a course for all new students. This is a small group based course that addresses some fundamental questions and aspects of the Christian life.

Topics and Readings

Topics such as one's identity, the Gospel or Cross‑centered living, and what it means to be a part of a Christian college environment will be explored and discussed. This course will be initially led by small group leaders.

Required readings for new students will be Follow Me by David Platt and The Christian Atheist: Believing in God, but Living as If He Doesn't Exist by Craig Groeschel. Our curriculum will be the BASIC film series by Francis Chan.  

Class Format

The class will meet Monday, September 2, at 6:30pm in Rudd Auditorium, and thereafter will meet as small groups in faculty/ staff homes throughout the semester.
