Rugby Team
The Bryan College Rugby Football Club was founded in 2004 by then student Steve Orner, and remains the longest standing club at Bryan. The club is a member of the USA Rugby Union and competes in the MidSouth Local Area Union, Division III Rugby. Regular League competition includes Lee University, North Georgia University, Sewanee University of the South, Tennessee Tech, Jacksonville St, and the University of Memphis.
Completely student run, students represent the club twice a year at the regional conference meetings, have become certified referees, and currently lead and direct practices and training. Membership in the club is open to any any student registered under USA Rugby. Practices are generally held Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:00 p.m.
