Undone: Where Becoming Begins

As I walk across campus, I often see students sitting in the grassy bowl talking with friends, reading, or simply sitting still and thinking. Generations of Bryan students have done the same, and I was one of them. The questions that come in those quiet moments are often the “big” questions of life and faith: Who is God? Who am I before Him?

Our Why

Our Why

We are not mainly here to hand out an education, but to walk with people as they become, whether they are meeting Jesus for the first time or, like me, still learning how deep his grace runs.

Challenge and Support: The Shape of Christian Formation

This means that a Christian college committed to student success cannot settle for either comfort or rigor in isolation. If our goal is Christlikeness, then challenge and support are not competing values to be balanced. They are a single expression of how God forms his people, and they belong together.

The People Behind The Mission

The People Behind the Mission

One of the things I love most about Bryan College is that we get to celebrate people who deserve it.
This past week, we announced two promotions. Dr. Alex Staup is now Associate Vice President for Student Life and Success. Leigha Miller is now Associate Vice President for Enrollment. If you’ve been around Bryan for any length of time, this isn’t surprising. Both of them have been leading at this level. We’re just making it official.

What is Success?

Our mission at Bryan College is “Educating students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.” That means success isn’t measured by academic achievement alone, but by formation in the likeness of Christ—the shaping of character, purpose, resilience, and a life oriented toward service. We want students to grow not just in what they know, but in how they know and who they are.

What Is Active Learning in College? Why It Matters for...

In Bryan College’s BBA in AI-Driven Analytics, students don’t just learn data concepts—they build dashboards, interpret trends, and make real recommendations. Through hands-on practice, they develop the confidence and skills needed for today’s data-driven careers.

Excellence With Purpose

At Bryan College, academic excellence is not separated from Christian purpose. We believe that rigorous scholarship and Christian faith are complementary and not competing. Scripture reminds us that all meaningful work, especially the work of learning, can be an act of worship when offered to God.

Doing Life Together

Remember the expression, “do life together?” The slogan singlehandedly carried various Christian campaigns across the United States in the early 2000s. From budding church plants to marital counseling to small groups, the idea of togetherness was tactfully pushed. That is until the global pandemic of COVID-19.
