Policies and Guidelines

  • Students are expected to take responsibility for the scheduling of their own exams.
  • A Bryan College Student ID must be provided to sign into the testing area.  For non-students a valid driver’s license will suffice.  Other cases will be left up to the discretion of the proctor.
  • Proctoring is by appointment only and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours prior to testing time.
  • If a student arrives more than 15 min. late to a scheduled appointment time, they will not be permitted to test upon arrival.  They should email the proctor in advance to make alternate arrangements.  This does not, however, ensure that you will be able to take your test that day.
  • If a student arrives more than 30 min. late to a scheduled appointment time and has not contacted the proctor within these 30 min., this will constitute a missed appointment.
  • If a student needs to change their scheduled testing time, they must do so at least 24 hours prior to scheduled test, otherwise it will be considered a missed appointment.
  • After three missed appointments, the student will no longer be permitted to use the testing center for the remainder of the semester.
  • All personal items, i.e., notebooks, backpacks, cell phones, smart watches, hats, scarves, hoodies, listening devices, copying devices, food, drinks, children, visitors, notes (unless otherwise specified by the instructor) are prohibited in the testing room.
  • If you leave the testing center, you will not be allowed to return and continue working on your test.
