Bryan College Communication, Media & Culture Program

Communication, Media & Culture Program

A biblical worldview is the basis of the Communication, Media & Culture major at Bryan College. Without this worldview, there would be no freedom to speak, write, debate, and otherwise engage in culture and media. Undergirded by this worldview, this major provides in-depth instruction in both the theoretical and practical aspects of communication. The program will inform, inspire, and equip you to communicate the Gospel truth effectively and strategically across all platforms- both traditional and online.

What sets our Communication, Media & Culture program apart?

Bryan College, specifically the Department of Communication, Media, and Culture, provides you with hands-on experience in digital media, corporate communication, and film emphasis. You will have opportunities to contribute to the college’s news site via photography, video, and media writing. In addition, you will develop projects for corporate communication and serve in internship positions across the region.

There is a wide variety of careers open to Communication students. These include public speaking, journalism, graphic design, content creation, and business and corporate careers.

I feel that the business professors are some of the most caring and sympathetic professors at this school. They do not just care about my grades but about me as a person. I have grown especially fond of Dr. Benton Jones. He constantly lets me know that he has enjoyed having me in class. The professors in the business department have been a key factor in my success and satisfaction as a student in the business department.
