Bryan College Politics, Government, & History Program

• While the History major at Bryan College is rooted in a biblical worldview, our curriculum goes beyond studying only Christian subjects. We will prepare you to explore the past as a Christian historian who understands that the Creator God is a God of order, and being made in His image gives you the opportunity to search for truth and understand the world around you. This Christian worldview education gives you a great advantage that many in our culture do not have.
• In His Sermon on the Mount, Christ reminds us that we cannot properly steward our society without an understanding of the politics and governments that frame the portals through which we pass in our commissioned service. We commit to providing you with real-world exposure to Politics & Government that has direct application in 21st-century America and the world beyond.

• Graduates of the History program serve all around the world as lawyers, teachers, coaches, engineers, parents, and missionaries, making good on Bryan’s mission statement: educating students of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.
• Possible careers for graduates with a degree in Politics & Government include Armed Forces officer, Cabinet, and Sub-Cabinet level agency positions, criminal justice, elected official, lawyer, campaign director/analyst/commentator, political journalist, professor/school teacher, US Department of State, and International Justice Mission (IJM) and other Christian Missions.
