Associate Professor, Dr. Geoff Knowles is the chair for the Bryan College Vogel School of Engineering, where he enjoys spending time with his students. His education is in civil and environmental engineering, and he has worked in a variety of contexts in engineering, education, and ministry. He teaches several engineering courses ranging from Introduction to Engineering, for freshmen, to seniors courses such as the Senior Design Capstone course. Geoff is married to Tiffani, whom he met on a summer mission project in college, and has a son and two daughters. He enjoys learning about new technology, reading, and active outdoor activities like hiking and building projects around the house.
Teaching at Bryan College in the engineering program has been both a wonderful and challenging experience! Engineering is a rigorous program and draws inquisitive students that are fun to engage and shape for the future. We also have a unique approach to engineering that emphasizes knowing Christ and building his Kingdom through missional engineering thinking and practice.
