Study Abroad Program
At Bryan College, our study abroad programs are designed to help students grow as global servants — academically, culturally, and spiritually. Whether through a short-term trip or a full semester abroad, students are invited to step into a larger story of faith, learning, and cross-cultural discipleship.
Each year, Bryan offers two faculty-led Spring Break trips for 6-8 students. These one-credit-hour experiences blend academic learning with intentional spiritual growth. Students participate in pre-trip preparation, daily reflections during the experience, and post-trip debriefs that challenge them to see God’s work in the world and in their own lives. Guided by Bryan faculty and staff, these trips foster deep community, cultural humility, and Christ-centered service.
Step into history and adventure with our upcoming Spring 2026 trip to Germany and Austria! This immersive experience will explore pivotal World War II historical sites, take you on a whimsical Sound of Music tour, and offer unforgettable visits to museums, cultural landmarks, and the breathtaking Swiss Alps.
This is more than a class trip, it’s a journey through time, culture, and story. Whether you’re a history buff, music lover, or mountain explorer, there’s something for everyone.
In Spring, students have the opportunity to explore international business and culture through a two-week journey across Hungary, Romania, and Austria. In partnership with Emanuel University of Oradea, this course combines business insight with meaningful cultural engagement and spiritual formation. Students will reflect on what it means to live faithfully and serve others in a global context, while building lasting relationships across borders.
Beginning Fall 2026, Bryan College will offer semester-long study abroad opportunities through Living & Learning International, allowing students to immerse themselves in global communities while growing in their faith and academic pursuits.
In London, England, students will study at the University of Roehampton and explore the rich history of the Christian Church through coursework and guided travel. Spiritual formation is built into the experience through mentorship, community engagement, and opportunities to reflect on faith in the context of one of the world’s most influential cities.
In Quito, Ecuador, students will live with host families, participate in service and internship opportunities, and engage in experiential learning across Ecuador’s diverse regions. Courses in vocation, spiritual formation, and intercultural communication are paired with regular discipleship and worship gatherings, helping students see how their faith integrates with every area of life.
In Rome, Italy, students will explore theology, history, and culture while traveling to key sites like Florence and Pompeii. The Rome program emphasizes spiritual rhythms through weekly chapel dinners, small groups, and personal mentorship. Students are invited into a life of intentional Christian community while experiencing the beauty and depth of the global Church.
Every program challenges students to grow academically and spiritually—shaping their worldview through Christ, deepening their faith, and preparing them to lead with humility and purpose wherever God calls.
Our study abroad trips are open to all current Bryan College students in good academic and disciplinary standing. Trips are size-limited, and students will go through an application and interview process to be accepted into the program.
