Global & Leadership Opportunities
The Acts Project is a summer-long mission experience in which students of all majors experience how their course of study is preparing them for a life of good work for God’s kingdom. It is also a way to fulfill Honors, student teaching, or internship requirements.
The program is preceded by an intensive semester of preparation. CM420 Missions: Foundations and Applications meet weekly in a small, highly interactive study setting, where students explore God’s call to cultivate the Gospel around the world and study current trends in missions. Additionally, the course ensures students are meeting practical deadlines for important pre-field requirements such as obtaining a passport, applying for a visa if necessary, receiving any required immunizations, and more. CM420 also features a several day, cross-cultural field trip that provides students with experience in cross-cultural relationship building and evangelism before they go overseas. Once on the field, Acts Project interns serve alongside believers of many nationalities and live with missionaries who become cultural guides, vocational mentors, and spiritual friends. At the end of the program, students convene for a debriefing week to process, discuss, and move forward transformed.
Cost: $600 course fee + $3,000-$6,000 support
Covers 100% of the program: class cross-cultural field trip, airfare, living expenses for 2+ months in-field, and debriefing week.

The Bryan College Honduras Trip is a hands-on international service experience that allows students to live out the College’s mission of educating students to make a difference in today’s world. Through a long-standing partnership with Destino Del Reino in Siguatepeque, Honduras—led by Bryan College alum Rhonda Jackson—students serve through soccer, education, and community outreach.
Participants use their gifts to lead soccer camps, teach English classes, assist with coaching clinics, play exhibition matches against local teams, and support practical service projects such as construction and facility improvements. Beyond the work itself, students gain valuable experience in leadership, cross-cultural engagement, teamwork, and faith-based service.
This trip challenges students to step outside their comfort zones, grow spiritually, and develop a deeper understanding of global service—returning with a renewed perspective and a lasting impact on the communities they serve.

Who We Are
The Bryan College Student Government Association is a group of eight senators and two executives, elected by popular vote of the student body, who develop a connection with the students through various projects and initiatives that can vary from minor improvements to major accomplishments.
Additionally, SGA is designed to bridge the gap between students and administration, transforming the student voice into plans and solutions that can address any issue that comes your way.
Your Representatives
The President and Vice President maintain the structure of the SGA and communicate between the Senate and various higher levels of authority.
The Senators are most directly connected with each of you. Their job is to connect with you as students and to be your voice to the rest of the Senate during discussions, planning, and problem-solving.
Senators speak for you among the rest of the SGA.
Mission
Above all, this SGA shall prioritize a genuine, valuable, and non-transactional relationship with the students and community at large, and foster such a relationship among them.
Purpose
First, this SGA shall focus its efforts on the trivial and unfulfilled needs and desires of that community, serving in small, insignificant areas where other offices, departments, and people do not devote time or resources, and in which there is ample room to foster and nourish relationships without the need for massive and ambitious undertakings.
Second, this SGA shall strive to be an effective source of information and means of communication between students and administrative offices, to increase the speed and efficiency of information flowing from one to the other or between both.
