The Acts Project is a vocational internship in a missions context preceded by an intensive semester of preparation.Ā Once on the field, Acts Project interns serve alongside believers of many nationalities, and live with missionaries who become cultural guides, vocational mentors, and spiritual friends.
CID has placed a particular emphasis on communicating a Christian worldview to the people of the former Marxists nations of Central and Eastern Europe. Students have interned with the Austrian Red Cross,Ā Pro Mente Burgenland rehabilitation center, and many others.
The Jordan & Israel study tour is two weeks around the Mediterranean, experiencingĀ the history, art, food, politics, geography, and culture, while earning college creditĀ for BIB222 Old Testament Literature and Interpretation. The tourĀ bringsĀ participantsā studies to life as they visit locations where Moses, David, and Isaiah traveled and lived.

The Performing Arts Department coordinates a bi-annual trip to London, England, fulfilling credit for THT 111 Introduction to Theatre (3 credits), THT 433 London Theatre Tour (3 credits), or MUS 210 Music Appreciation (3 credits).
