Summer Institute: Theater

In the Theater Track at the Bryan College Summer Institute, students will:

  • Study various aspects of theatre production (including stagecraft, scenic painting, script analysis, and acting workshops)
  • Participate and receive feedback on acting technique and audition prep in monologue masterclass sessions
  • Develop a personal philosophy as Christian artists and performers 

Prework: Pre-reading of Francis Schaeffer's "Art and the Bible" and monologue prep

Bernie Belisle, Adjunct Professor of Theatre

Mr. Bernie Belisle has been involved in higher education for 37+ years, the last 25 being at Bryan College. His expertise is in the area of theatre, especially directing, designing, and construction of the college's Hilltop Player productions. He is retired and currently teaching one course for BC. He is committed to educating students in theatre to make a difference in the field as ambassadors for Christ. His wife, Donna, is the Auxiliary Services Manager.
