Bryan College is proud to announce that its baccalaureate degree program in nursing has been officially accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). “We are deeply grateful for this recognition of excellence in nursing education,” said Dr. Pam Giles, Dean and Professor of the Clara Ward School of Nursing. “CCNE accreditation highlights the strength of our program, the dedication of our faculty, and the calling of our students to serve with skill and compassion. We look forward to preparing the next generation of nurses who will make a Christ-centered impact in healthcare.”

The Department of Nursing will celebrate its first graduating class in May 2026. The program offers an on-campus Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) designed to prepare students academically, professionally, and spiritually to serve in healthcare.

About the Clara Ward School of Nursing’s BSN Program
Bryan’s nursing program combines personalized instruction, clinical excellence, and faith-based education:

  • Small class sizes: A 1:10 faculty-to-student ratio allows for close mentorship and individualized support. Clinical groups maintain a 1:6 ratio for personal instruction and patient safety.
  • Exam readiness: Students use NCLEX-style testing software from day one and complete a three-day NCLEX-RN review course included in tuition.
  • Innovative technology: Mobile tools support learning in areas such as pathophysiology, nursing diagnoses, and medication information.
  • Financial stewardship: Bryan helps keep costs down by reusing textbooks and including uniforms, lab coats, and clinical tools in tuition.
  • Faith-driven mission: Rooted in Bryan’s Christian heritage, the program prepares nurses to serve others with competence, compassion, and Christlike care.

The program’s state-of-the-art facilities are located in the Livesay Learning Center and include simulation labs, classrooms, and collaborative spaces. Clinical experiences are typically arranged within a 60-mile radius of Dayton, Tennessee. Scholarship opportunities are available for qualified students.
