Bryan College Expands Education Program with Two New Degrees

Teaching Degree

Bryan College is proud to announce two innovative degree programs in its Education Department, offering students new opportunities to pursue their passion for teaching while meeting the evolving needs of the education field. Guided by the mission to “train students in content and pedagogy in the context of a Christian worldview,” these programs align with the department’s core values: Learn, Teach, Lead.

These new programs represent years of prayer, planning, and perseverance. Our Master of Arts in Teaching with three pathways: job-embedded, student teaching, and non-licensure options, alongside our Special Education Bachelor's degree with dual licensure, open doors that our department has prayed over for our students and for the children they'll serve. I've watched the Lord work through every step of this journey, often in ways that left me in awe of His provision. These pathways will allow us to send more Christian educators into classrooms where they're desperately needed – teachers who combine professional excellence with a biblical foundation. I am excited not only for our students but for the schools across our communities and the state of Tennessee. As a department, we are thankful that God has allowed us to be a part of His work here at Bryan College.

  • Advanced coursework in instructional methods and classroom management

  • Personalized mentorship from experienced educators
  • A supportive, faith-based learning environment

With the increasing demand for highly qualified educators, the M.A.T. program prepares graduates to inspire and educate future generations while living out their calling to serve.
