First Responder with child

From CMSgt Michael Kennedy, USAF (Ret) M.A.Ed.,

Bryan College first and foremost continues to lift in prayer our brave First Responders and their families in prayer during this current COVID 19 response. We cannot thank them enough for their sacrifices during this time. As a way to say thank you, Bryan has a First Responder Scholarship for those interested in returning to school to complete their degree. Those eligible will receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship to Bryan College Online.

This scholarship is offered to those who are serving in the following sectors

  • Law Enforcement (full time/part time/auxiliary/volunteers)
  • Fire Department (full time/part time/auxiliary/volunteers)
  • Dispatcher (full time/part time)
  • Corrections (full time/part time)
  • Civilian Employees of those related agencies (full time/part time)
  • Immediate family members of uniformed members (spouse/children)

We also provide a no-cost evaluation to assess their training and education, and provide previously earned credit to go towards their degree program at Bryan. We waive the application fee for those who apply with Bryan College. This offer is for all First Responders and civilian employees of a qualifying agency (Law Enforcement, Fire Department, Corrections, EMS). If you are interested in knowing more, our Coordinator of Military & First Responder Programs, Mike Kennedy, is a retired Police Officer and can be reached at mkennedy9613@bryan.edu for any questions you may have!

Again, we know the service and sacrifice you each provide, and as an educational institution of faith, please know we continually pray for your safety and that of your families during this time.

ChIef Kennedy
