Bryan College Debate Team

The Bryan Debate Club will offer practical experience in discussing significant topics and issues. Through collaboration with teammates, you will cultivate a supportive circle of like-minded friends who share your passions and desire to stretch and grow their knowledge and communication skills. Participation is open to students from any major or level of experience. With dedicated coaching and student leaders, our program aims to enhance your communication abilities, encourage you to tackle new challenges, and achieve your desired goals all while glorifying our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Bryan Equestrian Team

Bryan College Equestrian Team

Our unique equestrian team is a coed opportunity for college students, regardless of riding level, to engage in equestrian competition and develop their skills in a supportive environment. We welcome students of all majors to participate in our equestrian team. Whether you’re just starting or you’re an experienced rider, we believe that everyone should have the chance to enjoy the thrill of equestrian sports, regardless of their academic path. Our equestrian program is rooted in faith and values. We proudly participate in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), where you can compete in classes such as horsemanship, ranch riding, and reigning. Our focus on sportsmanship, horsemanship, and academic excellence is guided by a Biblical worldview that puts Christ at the center of all our activities. We are also excited to eliminate the barriers to horse ownership, through our partnership with Dreaming Big Farms by Denise Sims, who will provide horses for our riders, making it easy for everyone to join in on the fun. We also need non-riding team members! If you have a love for grooming, horse care, or organizational skills, we would love to have you on our team.

Moot Court

The Bryan College Moot Court Team aims to cultivate civic-minded servants of Christ who are equipped to make a difference in the world. Through simulated appellate advocacy, students develop skills in legal reasoning, critical thinking, and persuasive communication. Competing under the American Moot Court Association (AMCA), students work in teams to analyze a fictional constitutional law case by researching its background, court rulings, and legal precedents. If Bryan is accepted into AMCA after July 1st, the team will be eligible to participate in regional tournaments held in November and December, with the opportunity to advance to national tournaments in January and February. Team members must be part- or full-time resident undergraduates or local BCO students. Participants are required to attend weekly meetings, dedicate at least two hours per week to preparation, and compete in internal rounds to qualify for official tournaments. The program promotes constitutional understanding, civil discourse, and professional excellence.
