One of the things I love most about Bryan College is that we get to celebrate people who deserve it.
This past week, we announced two promotions. Dr. Alex Staup is now Associate Vice President for Student Life and Success. Leigha Miller is now Associate Vice President for Enrollment. If you’ve been around Bryan for any length of time, this isn’t surprising. Both of them have been leading at this level. We’re just making it official.

Nate Byrd, a May 2026 graduate of Bryan College, ranked in the top 10 globally in the final Glo-Bus standings. Because of his performance, Byrd received an invitation to compete in an exclusive international competition featuring students from 11 universities around the world.

Bryan College marked a significant milestone in its history on May 1 as the Clara Ward School of Nursing celebrated its first graduating class with a traditional pinning ceremony. The following day, the nine graduates joined their peers in walking across the stage at commencement, marking the culmination of their academic journey.

Bryan College Athletics has announced that senior men’s basketball player Nick Chambless and senior track and field/cross country member Kennedy Groves have been named this year’s recipients of the Lion of Valor Award — the highest athletic honor bestowed by the Bryan College Department of Athletics.
