Program Overview

A certificate in Accounting focuses on the preparation of financial reports and the in-depth study of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts.

Sixty-six hours are required for a major in Business Administration: Accounting option:

  • ACCT 231 Principles of Accounting I 3 hours A
  • CCT 232 Principles of Accounting II 3 hours
  • ACCT 331 Intermediate Accounting I 3 hours
  • ACCT 332 Intermediate Accounting II 3 hours
  • ACCT 336 Tax Accounting 3 hours ACCT 338 Cost Accounting 3 hours
  • ACCT 421 Auditing 3 hours ACCT elective (300/400 level) 3 hours
