Requirements

Eighteen hours (beyond PSY111) are required for a minor in Counseling Psychology:

  • PSY325 Personality Theory (3 hours)
  • PSY327 Methods & Models of Integration (3 hours)
  • PSY334 Social Psychology (3 hours)
  • PSY424 Abnormal Psychology (3 hours)
  • PSY429 Counseling Theories (3 hours)
  • ONE of the following: (3 hours)
    • PSY330 Lifespan Development
    • PSY449 Counseling Techniques
