Criminal Justice (B.A.)

Overview

The Criminal Justice degree (B.A.) places an emphasis on being a willing servant called by Christ (Isaiah 6:8) to work in a field where order must be upheld. This degree educates students on how order can be carried out in a Christ-like manner and teaches them the professional and interpersonal skills necessary to treat everyone respectfully and fairly under the law.

Benefits of this Path

All faculty members in the Criminal Justice Department have served as practitioners in various law enforcement and related careers. This allows them to provide not only a high level of academic instruction but also hands-on, applied experience that equips students with a valuable skill set and prepares them for diverse careers. This Bryan College program also demonstrates the confluence between the field of criminal justice and the Christian worldview, teaching students how a robust Christian faith can guide them in this challenging and rewarding arena.
