History (B.A.) — Foundation Option

Overview

Our History degree helps you make sense of the past, present, and future. This program doesn’t simply help you develop career skills, it helps you develop valuable life skills. You will be prepared to examine the history of the human race from a biblical perspective. Additionally, you will be encouraged to freely exchange ideas with your professors and peers as you seek to find your historical voice and, in the process, observe how relationships with Christ throughout history have driven individuals to change the course of their lives.

While the History major at Bryan College is rooted in a biblical worldview, our curriculum goes beyond studying only Christian subjects. We will prepare you to explore the past as a Christian historian who understands that the Creator God is a God of order, and being made in His image gives you the opportunity to search for truth and understand the world around you. This Christian worldview education gives you a great advantage that many in our culture do not have.
