Liberal Arts: Elementary Education (B.S.)

Overview

The goal of this program is to equip you to influence children and youth in order to help them become productive leaders of their generation. We do this in three ways:

• We provide you with a rigorous college education in all content areas necessary for licensure.
• We teach you how to be an effective classroom teacher.
• We do this in the context of a biblical understanding of the teaching and learning process.

Benefits of this Path

Students who complete our program successfully, including passing the appropriate Praxis II exams, receive a Tennessee teaching license and a professional level teaching certificate from the Association of Christian Schools International. Most of our programs are fulfilled in conjunction with a major from the respective department.
