Music (B.S.) — Education Option

Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Music Education at Bryan College is a non-licensure program that gives students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in both the education and music fields. This degree is geared towards students who wish to be involved in music education outside of the public school system. Coursework includes applied music lessons, music theory and history, conducting, classroom management, philosophy of education, and more. The capstone of the degree will include an internship where students will gain practical experience working in a relevant teaching scenario.
