Sport Management (B.S.)

Overview

The Sport Management option for the Exercise & Health Science degree is designed for students who desire a career in the business side of sports. Classes are a blend of Exercise Health Science and Business classes. The focus of the major is to prepare students seeking employment within the managerial aspects of the sports world. Career fields include Athletic Director, Sports Marketing, Sports Agent, Event Planner, and Facilities Management.

Our students develop close relationships with each other and with faculty mentors such as physical education teachers, coaches, athletic trainers, and athletic directors. This sense of community fosters personal growth in all areas of our lives. We also emphasize local and international experiences (such as the ACTS program) that prepare our students to interact with people of varied backgrounds.
