The role emphasizes excellence in teaching and provides opportunities for scholarship and service, with particular attention to meaningful student engagement in small class settings where faculty can know students well and invest in their intellectual and spiritual formation. Faculty should possess a strong academic background, a commitment to a Biblical worldview, and a desire to work alongside colleagues in a collegial and supportive faculty environment.
This position is primarily focused on teaching Marketing. The successful candidate will bring disciplinary expertise to undergraduate marketing courses while also supporting the broader needs of the Business Department through teaching additional business and related courses. Faculty will teach undergraduate courses, mentor students academically and spiritually, and contribute actively to curriculum development and program improvement. This position provides the opportunity to shape course design, influence program direction, and participate in substantive curricular conversations that directly affect student learning and outcomes. Faculty will engage in departmental, college, and community initiatives as appropriate and will play a meaningful role in guiding students’ academic paths and vocational direction.
Adjustments to teaching responsibilities may be made in accordance with the college’s workload policy based on the type of courses to which adjunct faculty are assigned and the extent of their responsibilities in other areas. All Bryan faculty are expected to follow the policies, guidelines, and instructions in the Bryan College Faculty Handbook.
Reports to: Chair of the Department of Business
Minimum of a master’s degree in a business-related field, with at least 18 graduate hours in Marketing; 18 hours in other areas of business preferred; terminal degree preferred.
