Student Government Association

Who We Are

The Bryan College Student Government Association is a group of eight senators and two executives, elected by popular vote of the student body, who develop a connection with the students through various projects and initiatives that can vary from minor improvements to major accomplishments.
Additionally, SGA is designed to bridge the gap between students and administration, transforming the student voice into plans and solutions that can address any issue that comes your way.

Your Representatives

The President and Vice President maintain the structure of the SGA, and communicate between the Senate and various higher levels of authority.
The Senators are most directly connected with each of you. Their job is to connect with you as students and to be your voice to the rest of the Senate during discussions, planning, and problem-solving.
Senators speak for you among the rest of the SGA.

Mission

Above All, this SGA shall prioritize a genuine, valuable, and non-transactional relationship with the students and community at large, and foster such a relationship among them.

Purpose

First, this SGA shall focus its efforts on the trivial and unfulfilled needs and desires of that community, serving in small, insignificant areas where other offices, departments, and people do not devote time or resources, and in which there is ample room to foster and nourish relationship without the need for massive and ambitious undertakings;
Second, this SGA shall strive to be an effective source of information and means of communication between students and administrative offices, to increase the speed and efficiency of information flowing from one to the other or between both.
