Chapel Speaker – Jason Thacker

A leading voice in Christian ethics and technology, Thacker serves as an assistant professor of philosophy and ethics at Boyce College and Southern Seminary. He also holds the role of Director of Research at the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, where he examines the ethical implications of artificial intelligence, social media, and digital culture through a biblical lens. His work has been featured in prominent outlets like The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Christianity Today, making him one of the foremost scholars engaging with technology from a faith-based perspective.

Thacker is the author of several influential books, including The Age of AI: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity and Following Jesus in a Digital Age, as well as the editor of The Digital Public Square: Christian Ethics in a Technological Society. His scholarship equips believers to navigate the challenges of the digital world with wisdom and discernment. As a PhD candidate in Ethics and Public Policy at Southern Seminary, his insights are shaping the next generation of Christian leaders.
