Chapel Speaker – Matt Papa

As a veteran songwriter and musician, Matt has become one of the most influential modern hymn writers of our time. His songs, including His Mercy Is More, Christ Our Hope in Life and Death, and Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery, have inspired congregations across the world. He is a three-time Dove Award-nominated artist and a regular collaborator with Getty Music, using his talents to craft worship songs that are both timeless and deeply theological his music. 

Matt is passionate about mentoring and leading the next generation in worship. His role as an artist-in-residence at Marco Presbyterian Church and his previous position at Cedarville University highlight his dedication to pouring into students and fellow musicians. We are honored to have him join us at Bryan College, and we look forward to a time of worship and reflection.
