Education Preview Day

• Education Preview Day is an opportunity to have firsthand interactions with faculty, staff, and students in the program. The Education Department offers licensure programs in Elementary Ed (K-5)  and Secondary Ed (middle to high school). Each program is built based on a solid foundation in the education process to best prepare students to be effective teachers at their desired grade level.  Attending Education Preview Day provides a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to be an Education Major at Bryan College. During this event, students will have the chance to ask questions and mingle with faculty. Students will also attend a class. To conclude Education Preview Day, you will hear from current students who are in various stages of the Education program during the panel discussion.  

  Schedule

  8:30 am – Check-in (Stophel Welcome Center)

  9 am – Welcome Session (Stophel Welcome Center)

  10 am – Campus Worship  (Rudd Auditorium) 

  11 am – Lunch (Latimer Student Center)

  Noon – Campus Tour

  1 pm – Attend Methods of Teaching Math (Rankin 217)

  2 pm – Panel Discussion, (Mercer Administration Building) 

  3 pm – Check-out (Mercer Administration Building)
